The Edge Church is a non-denominational church located in Clinton, Oklahoma. We are a church who exists to lead people to become fully-devoted followers of Christ. The Edge Church wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of our people, in our community, and in the world. We are an in-step network church of Life.Church. We follow the Life.Church footprint for our weekly worship experiences, but are an autonomously led organization. We have three Sunday experiences, and are currently running 900 on average in attendance. Our Switch (youth) experience runs on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year and we are currently seeing 110, on average, students attending each week. We are praying over and currently looking for our next worship or Switch (youth) pastor. These are not a shared ministry role. We would love the opportunity to speak with you about a possible future ministry for you here at The Edge. SWITCH (YOUTH) PASTOR: - Reports directly to the Next Gen Pastor (the Lead Pastor, if no Next Gen). - Implements the weekly Switch events, as well as, special events. - Does stage time each week at Switch (or works with other leaders to do so), and occasionally leads a live-speak (or asks other staff members to fill in). - Develops Swerve program, meets regularly with them, trains and appreciates them. - Seeks to develop an overall comprehensive strategy for an individual leaving this ministry and walking into the next stage of life. - Working knowledge and application of Planning Center: People, Services. - A team player who collaborates with all ministries during weekend experiences. - Organized and efficient with time management. - Oversee ministry budget. - Helps to train team members. - Appreciates team members. - Have an overall ministry strategy so that as students progress through, they are physically, emotionally and spiritually prepared for the next season of life.
