For Churches
How do I post a job on PastorWork?
Click "Post a Job" at the top of the page, fill out your church and position details, write your job description, and select a listing plan. After payment your listing will be reviewed and made live within 24 hours.
How much does it cost to post a job?
Listings start at $149 for a standard 30-day listing. We also offer 60-day listings at $229, featured 30-day listings at $249, and featured 60-day listings at $349. Featured listings appear at the top of search results.
What is a featured listing?
Featured listings appear at the top of the jobs page and are highlighted with a special badge. They receive significantly more visibility than standard listings and are ideal for urgent or high-priority positions.
Can I edit my job listing after posting?
Yes — contact us at pastorworkcom@gmail.com and we will update your listing for you.
How long will my listing be active?
Standard listings are active for 30 or 60 days depending on the plan you choose. You will receive a renewal email before your listing expires.
Can I renew my listing after it expires?
Yes — you will receive a renewal email with a link to renew your listing at a discounted rate. You can also upgrade your listing to featured or extend it at any time.
How will I receive applications?
When a minister applies through PastorWork you will receive an email notification with their name, email, phone number, cover letter, and any uploaded documents such as a resume. You can reply directly to that email to contact the applicant.
Is PastorWork only for full-time positions?
No — we accept full-time, part-time, contract, and volunteer ministry positions.
What denominations do you serve?
PastorWork serves all Christian denominations including Non-Denominational, Baptist, Southern Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Episcopal, Pentecostal, Assembly of God, Catholic, Anglican, Reformed, Evangelical, and more.

Is PastorWork free for job seekers?
Yes — browsing and applying for jobs on PastorWork is completely free for ministers and ministry professionals.
How do I apply for a position?
Click on any job listing and click the "Apply for This Position" button. You will be taken to a simple application form where you can enter your information, write a cover letter, and upload your resume and other documents. Your application is sent directly to the church.
Can I upload my resume?
Yes — you can upload multiple files including your resume, references, ministry portfolio, or any other documents when you apply. We accept PDF, Word, and image files up to 10MB each.
Will the church see my contact information?
Yes — when you apply your name and email address are shared with the church so they can contact you directly. Your phone number is optional.
How do I know if a church received my application?
You will receive a confirmation email immediately after submitting your application confirming it was sent to the church.
Can I apply for multiple positions?
Yes — you can apply for as many positions as you like. Each application is sent separately to the respective church.
How do I search for jobs in my state?
Use the search bar and filters on the jobs page to filter by state, category, denomination, job type, and work setting. You can also browse state-specific pages like pastorwork.com/ministry-jobs/texas.
Are the job listings real and current?
Yes — all listings are reviewed and approved by our team before going live. Listings expire after 30 or 60 days so you will only see current open positions.
How do I sign up for job alerts?
Visit pastorwork.com/job-alerts to sign up for email notifications when new ministry jobs matching your preferences are posted.
What types of ministry positions are listed?
PastorWork lists positions across all ministry categories including Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Youth Ministry, Children's Ministry, Worship Leader, Executive Pastor, Student Ministry, Missions, Administrative, Communications, Counseling, Education, Outreach, Small Groups, and more.
