**Role Summary** We’re searching for a new Worship Pastor to join our ministry staff. This role is full-time, salaried with benefits, and works under the leadership of the Senior Pastor and alongside the other members of the church ministry staff. The salary range is $50 - $70k/yr depending on experience and other parameters. The worship pastor will be a member of our church elder team and so must meet the biblical qualifications for eldership, which, according to our interpretation of scripture and our church polity, requires the worship pastor to be a male by biological sex and gender. We anticipate that the Worship Pastor will spend up to ⅔ of his time in worship-related ministry and the other ⅓ of his work time leading an additional area of ministry (both described in the next section). ASSOCIATE PASTOR OF WORSHIP AND MEDIA This is a full-time leadership position reporting directly to the Senior Pastor POSITION SUMMARY The Associate Pastor of Worship and Media provides pastoral, musical, technical, and administrative leadership for the church’s worship and media ministries. Working with the Senior Pastor and staff, this role plans and leads biblically faithful worship services; oversees rehearsals, special services, media production, and live streaming; and recruits, equips, and shepherds ministry volunteers. This position requires musical and technical ability, strong organization and communication, and, above all, a shepherd’s heart committed to loving people and advancing the church’s mission and vision. Contemporary Worship Leader & Youth Director Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: Executive Pastor Position Overview We are seeking a passionate, spiritually mature, and gifted Contemporary Worship Leader & Youth Director to lead our contemporary worship ministry while developing and directing a vibrant youth program that reaches beyond the walls of the church and positively impacts our community. Position Summary The Worship Pastor will be responsible for the overall leadership of the worship ministries at the SRC. While championing DCC’s DNA, he or she will work with the Worship Arts team to make disciples who are devoted followers of Christ. There are three primary responsibilities: - Oversee the Worship Ministries of the SRC - Develop and Lead the Worship Teams of the SRC - Collaborative and Pastoral Leadership of the DCC family Responsibilities Oversee the Worship Ministries of the SRC The Worship Pastor will be the primary planner/coordinator/leader of DCC’s corporate worship life by: - Planning the weekend order of worship (songs, prayer times, readings, etc.) for our two weekend services. - Coordinating with those who participate in the weekend service (announcements, missionary visits, ministry leader testimonies, etc.). - Collaborating with other key Worship Arts staff including our Creative Director, Chapel - Director, Campus Worship Directors and others (this pastoral position has dedicated admin support). - Leading/supporting other worship needs or ministry events (Celebration Sunday, outdoor baptism, worship nights, etc.). He or she will lead as a shepherd, regularly including a devotion and times of prayer in meetings and practices. - The Worship Pastor will identify, recruit and audition worship musicians and vocalists who have an authentic faith in Jesus. The extra effort that goes into both incorporating a broad range of instrumentation and developing adolescent musicians and vocalists is valued. - Through inviting, praying, coaching and evaluating, he or she will create an environment - where worship team members are valued, developed, resourced and released into well-fitting roles. - The Worship Pastor will schedule worship volunteers. Education and Experience - Seminary or special training in ministry is preferred, being a lifelong learner is a necessity!
