About This Role The Youth Director at The Bridge Church provides leadership, vision, and discipleship for students in grades 6–12. This role focuses on creating dynamic, Christ-centered environments where students can grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and take their next steps with Jesus. The Youth Director leads the Thursday Night Youth Group & oversees the Sunday Morning Middle School group, while also equipping leaders, engaging parents, & integrating students into the broader life of the church. Primary Responsibilities and Tasks of the Youth Director - Plan, lead, and teach weekly Thursday Night Youth Group gatherings for middle and high school students, creating engaging, fun, and spiritually formative experiences. - Oversee the Sunday Morning MS & HS groups, providing age-appropriate teaching/discipleship. - Implement strategy for outreach, discipleship, and leadership development within the youth ministry. - Create opportunities for students to serve in church ministries, community outreach, and missions. - Recruit, train, & equip adult leaders and volunteers to serve as mentors and role models for students. - Lead volunteer team meetings and provide ongoing encouragement, coaching, and accountability. - Build a leadership pipeline to develop student leaders within the ministry. - Partner with parents, equipping them to be the primary disciplers of their students. - Communicate consistently with parents about youth ministry events, teaching topics, and resources. - Provide care and support to families of students when needed. - Plan and oversee youth retreats, camps, mission trips, and special events. - Collaborate with the Family Life Pastor and other staff to integrate youth into church-wide activities. - Ensure all events are safe, organized, and aligned with the mission of The Bridge Church. - Manage scheduling, communication, and logistics for youth ministry programs. - Develop and oversee the youth ministry budget in partnership with the Family Life Pastor. - Ensure compliance with church policies for safety, volunteer screening, and child protection. - Track attendance, engagement, and spiritual growth of students.
