Ministry Salaries & Market Data in New Hampshire

Ministry opportunities in the Granite State offer pastors a chance to serve among approximately 1,200 churches, with Catholic, Baptist, and Methodist denominations representing the largest faith communities. While the cost of living index sits at 117.8 (about 18% above the national average) and median home prices reach $380,000, senior pastor salaries typically range from $58,000 to $105,000 to help offset these higher expenses. However, pastors should be aware that the current hiring trend is declining, making it important to network actively and consider various ministry roles beyond traditional senior pastor positions. The state's natural beauty, strong community values, and established church presence make it an appealing location for ministry leaders willing to navigate a more competitive job market.
