Job Description: DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP AND STUDENTS Full-time position for a servant of Christ seeking to serve His kingdom by leading worship and youth. The ideal candidate will be equipped to take on a dual leadership role, guiding the church in heartfelt worship with passion while also overseeing student ministries. JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES Worship Director - Take direct responsibility for planning, organizing, conducting, evaluating, and ensuring ongoing growth of a comprehensive music ministry. - Use Planning Center Online for scheduling, communication, song choices, and arrangements. - Plan and lead music selections, including hymns, that align with the message theme. Collaborate with the Worship Design Team and Pastor to ensure cohesive coordination. - Strengthen and develop a cohesive team of vocalists, instrumentalists, and media personnel, guiding them as they lead others to create a powerful worship experience. Student Director - Shepherd, lead, and organize the Jr. High and High School Ministries (7-12th grade) to facilitate students' transformation through God’s grace. - Coordinate children’s Sunday ministry by managing a monthly volunteer schedule and preparing rooms with the required curriculum, crafts, and games. - Invite, train, and empower volunteers to deliver coordinated leadership in the youth and children’s Sunday ministry. - Facilitate communication among consistory, church, youth, and families, and offer resources to parents and families as necessary. SPIRITUAL QUALIFICATIONS - Maintain a personal and developing relationship with Jesus Christ. - Show biblical understanding and affirm Scripture as God's inspired and infallible Word. - A mature, developing believer who understands the Gospel and can effectively communicate across different age groups. - Align with the Alliance of Reformed Churches' interpretation of Scripture, as outlined in the ARC’s Unified Beliefs, Creeds, and Confessions. - Model a strong devotional and family life. PRACTICAL QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in leading and developing worship and youth ministries is preferred. - Proficient in leading worship with a working knowledge of lighting, sound, and media software is preferred; training is willing to be provided. - Dedicated to spiritual integrity and eager to disciple students in their walk with the Lord, while also serving as a resource for their families. - A four-year degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, or equivalent ministry experience. - Possesses strong leadership and organizational skills, is a self-starter, consistently well-prepared, and earns the trust and respect of the leadership team. - Strong communication skills in both spoken and written forms. - Engaging, relational, and a great presenter who demonstrates through leadership and service. EMPLOYMENT ARRANGEMENTS - This is a full-time position which includes a Salary of $50,000-$60,000K DOE, Medical, Dental, Vision, Ministry Mileage, Cell-Phone Allowance, and Professional and Ministry Expenses.
