Job Description: Worship Director We are considering both part time and full time candidates. Job Role: A minister with a passion to lead and serve the worship ministry and media team. Other roles involve Sunday services, midweek programming, special events, volunteering/serving in outreach events, and other ministries. Other duties will be assigned based on the needs of the church. Required Shifts: - Sundays 6:30 AM-12:00 PM - Wednesdays 9:00 AM-8:00 PM (2 hours off throughout shift for lunch/dinner) - Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays Office Hours: 9:00 AM-3:00PM - Strongly encourage dedicating up to 5 hours a week outside shift requirements for personal spiritual growth and development, community engagement activities and events, and spending time with church members at group events. Qualifications/Requirements: - Born again Christian with maturity in their faith and has been called to the Gospel ministry - Exceptional musical skills - Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills - Effective skills in recruiting, managing, and providing team building environments for staff and volunteers - Solid theology and sound doctrine - Love for God, the church, the community, and the people - Carries a burden for the lost in the community - Pays tithes to Ridgeline Church Worship Director’s Responsibilities: - Coordinate and lead worship for public gatherings and all church wide meetings, events, and outreaches. - Oversee, maintain, prepare, and schedule adult and youth worship teams for services, events, and outreaches. - Oversee all technical components and teams for public worship gatherings. - Oversee the media team, its workflow, and its volunteers. - Share a profound love of Jesus through worship for our church and community. - Oversee and ensure the maintenance, care, and replacement of equipment related to the worship and media ministries. - Develop and oversee the annual worship ministry budget in a way that effectively utilizes church resources and maximizes ministry opportunities. - Direct weekly rehearsals as necessary to facilitate excellent worship experiences. - Schedule and plan monthly practices to ensure confidence of the worship team for new songs, bandmembers, and vocals. - Maintain the media team schedule for training and events. - Ensure that photographers are staffed and photobooths for events are setup. - Oversee audio/visual personnel for church events and outreaches. - Setup and oversee A/V projects and upgrades throughout the church. - Ensure the schedule on Planning Center is up to date for both media and worship teams. - Maintain budget for media A/V elements, products, and hardware across all campuses. - Create graphics, CCLI subscription, and ensure all recordings are being edited and posted. - Keep track and call any missing or absent parishioners weekly. - Stay till the end of all church wide activities to help clean and make sure all tasks are prepared and completed for next service. Worship Director’s Duties: - Participate in all church worship programs regularly. - Perform baptisms, weddings, funerals, hospital visits, and other pastoral care as necessary. - Serve in outreach events and within other ministries as needed. - Ensure any church products and equipment used for the worship and media ministries are stocked, maintained, and repaired as needed. - Ensure weekly cleaning is finished in a timely manner. Lifestyle Expectations: - Profess your faith in the Lord God and maintain a consistent relationship with Him. Talk to Him, Pray, and learn about His word. - Actively working on your spiritual growth through reading, taking classes, listening to training resources, and attending conferences and seminars. - Set a Christlike example in words and actions for the church and community while personally pursuing a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ. - Live in such a way that glorifies Christ in your personal, social, and online everyday life; 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
