Job Overview

Camelback Bible Church is searching for an Pastor of Students. This man will lead our ministry to Jr and Sr High.

A good candidate for this role on our team will be a mature Christian who loves Christ and loves students. He will be able to teach the Bible and have a calling to serve the next generation of believers. He’ll want to work as a member of our team. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Job Description

Title: Pastor of Students Type: Full Time Reporting: Reports to and is under the supervision of the Senior Pastor. Summary: This Pastor will lead Camelback’s ministry to Jr/Sr High students. As a result,

• Our students will grow as committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
• The gospel will grow among students in our area.
• Families will be strengthened as we help parents to disciple their children.

Duties: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of Camelback’s Youth Ministry

• Teach the Bible faithfully and systematically in large and small group settings.
• Equip students to know the Word, to serve others, and to share the Gospel.
• Connect with and build on the work of Camelback’s Children’s Ministry.
• Reach out to unsaved students in the area.
• Promote a caring, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Develop trusting and caring relationships with students and parents.
• Support the attractiveness, safety, and use of our physical space.
• Implement Camelback’s Child Protection Policy.
• Equip ministry leaders, teachers, and volunteers to serve in ministry.
• Recruit and inspire volunteers with a vision for discipling youth.
• Plan for and monitor staffing levels.
• Ensure that leaders are provided with needed equipment and resources.
• Help parents disciple their children.
• Take initiative to fulfill Camelback’s Vision.
• Function as a harmonious member of the Pastoral Staff.

Qualifications:

• Satisfy the requirements of 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–9
• Affirm Camelback’s Statement of Faith and Vision.
• Training and/or experience with youth ministry sufficient for the position.
