Other Salary & Career Guide

Churches offer diverse ministry opportunities beyond traditional pastoral roles, including positions in worship, youth ministry, children's ministry, administration, and outreach. These "other" ministry positions typically offer salary ranges from $28,000 to $48,000 in small churches, $38,000 to $60,000 in medium-sized congregations, and $52,000 to $85,000 in larger churches, depending on your experience and the scope of your responsibilities. The career progression often follows a clear pathway: starting in an entry-level ministry role, advancing to specialized ministry director positions, and eventually moving into senior leadership roles.
