Morrison Chapel Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church located in the heart of the Mississippi Delta in Cleveland, MS. Established in 1925, we are a member of the Mid-Delta Baptist Association, Mississippi Baptist Convention and The Southern Baptist Convention. MCBC has a multigenerational congregation that gathers on Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday evening services for all ages. We stand firmly on the Holy Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind; it is the sole and final sources of all that we believe. MCBC subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message, as adopted by the SBC (2000). We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The ordinances of the church are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We are prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor who will be responsible to the Church for proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, for using his skills in administrative leadership, for engaging in pastoral care ministries to meet the needs of persons in the church and in the community, and to act as the chief administrator of the ministerial and vocational staff. Benefits for this position include allowances for health insurance, retirement, automobile and housing. Salary package will be based on education and experience.
