Key Responsibilities Vision & Leadership - Provide clear vision, strategy, and leadership for all Next Generation ministries (Middle School, High School, and Young Adults). - Serve as a visible and engaged leader on campus, actively executing the vision of the church and youth ministry. - Demonstrate strong teamwork and excellent communication skills. - Ensure alignment of Next Generation ministries with the mission, values, and culture of Strong Tower Church. - Identify opportunities to integrate students and young adults into all aspects of church life. - Model an active and engaged church lifestyle, including inviting others, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community. - Develop and implement a discipleship pathway that encourages spiritual growth and leadership development. - Oversee ministry environments that are engaging, biblically sound, safe, and relationally strong. Ministry Oversight Middle School Ministry - Develop weekly programming and discipleship environments for middle school students. - Recruit and equip leaders to build meaningful relationships with students. - Partner with parents to support spiritual development at home. High School Ministry - Provide vision and leadership for high school discipleship and spiritual formation. - Create opportunities for growth through small groups, serving, and leadership development. - Oversee retreats, camps, and special events that deepen students’ faith. We are prayerfully seeking our next Family Ministry Pastor, a gifted builder, spiritual leader, and relational shepherd who will establish and grow a comprehensive family ministry spanning the full age spectrum from birth through college. THE ROLE OF THE NEXT-GEN PASTOR The primary role of the Next-Gen Pastor is to introduce young people to Christ, disciple them in spiritual growth and equip them to serve Christ. The Next-Gen Pastor also equips parents/guardians to disciple their children. The Next-Gen Pastor is responsible for planning, promoting and coordinating education and activities for grades six through twelve.
