Missions Associate of Logistics and Care Full Time, non-exempt, Reports to the Pastor of Missions. Assists the Pastor of Missions, Director of Mobilization and Director of Missions in the areas of logistics, care and mobilization. Job Responsibilities Logistics Coordinate all travel logistics for short-term, mid-term and long-term trips. Reports to the Pastor of Missions. - Research and process travel logistics (flights, insurance, entry visa requirements for staff trips, short-term trips, and mid-term trips, accommodations, in-country travel, ordering supplies etc.). - Provide logistical support for Short-Term and Mid-Term teams while they are serving if the Director of Mobilization is not available. - Process financials with the finance team for pre-trip expenses. - Assist the Director of Mobilization with the training of short-term trip leaders. - Coordinate with short-term trip leaders after their return to report any expenses for reimbursement or the reconciliation of cash advances. Care Assist the Director of Missions by providing administrative support and facilitating care for missionaries and church plant partners. - Process prayer requests for all partners for distribution to the congregation and prayer teams. - Coordinate stateside housing and transportation for all our partners. - Work with the Director of Missions to coordinate the annual missions conference. - Work the Director of Mobilization and communications to identify cool stories to promote missions at Providence through various platforms…social media, email and missions wall. - Serve as a mobilizer at Providence. - Perform other duties as assigned.
