Our church is located in Corvallis OR, an awesome college town that loves the outdoors, the OSU Beavers, microbrews, hiking and bicycling! We are regularly ranked amongst the top college towns to live in, the top bike friendly communities, the most educated per capita and last but not least, the most unchurched! Come join our team as we strive to reach our vision.
Our church is committed to a ministry philosophy that is SIMPLE – our process of ministry consists of 5 steps

Position Summary
The MIX Director provides leadership for our church's ministry to preteens, creating a fun, welcoming, and gospel-centered environment where students can build friendships, explore faith, and invite others. This ministry meets every Sunday morning where it operates a little more like a traditional children’s ministry program, and then on Sunday evenings throughout the school year where it’s designed to function more like an outreach-oriented youth group. Think- bring your friends, play outgoing games, and hear a message about the truth and hope of Jesus.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Sunday morning and Sunday evening 4th & 5th grade programming.
- Recruit, train, and encourage a team of volunteer leaders.
- Create engaging gatherings that help students connect with one another and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
- Foster an outreach culture where students feel excited and comfortable inviting friends.
- Communicate regularly with parents and ministry volunteers.
- Plan special events, activities, and outreach opportunities throughout the year.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-organized ministry environment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate loves Jesus, enjoys working with preteens, and has a passion for helping students take their first steps of faith. They are energetic, relational, fun, and able to connect naturally with both students and parents. They are a team player who can recruit and lead volunteers, create engaging environments, and help build a ministry that reaches both church kids and those who have never been connected to a church before.
