Highridge Church is a Christ-centered, community-rooted congregation seeking a Worship Director who will lead our church family into meaningful, Spirit-led worship. This role is ideal for someone who blends musical excellence with a shepherd’s heart—someone who values simplicity and authenticity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Worship: Plan and lead weekly worship services that are biblically grounded, musically engaging, and spiritually formative.

• Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and schedule volunteer musicians and vocalists, fostering a culture of unity and growth.

• Service Planning: Collaborate with the pastor and ministry leaders to align music, Scripture, and creative elements with the message and liturgical calendar.

• Special Services: Prepare music and creative elements for seasonal services (e.g., Advent, Easter, baptisms, memorials).

Qualifications

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the church’s mission and values.

• Musical proficiency (vocals and/or instrument) with the ability to lead others confidently.

• Experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting (small church experience a plus).

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• A heart for shepherding volunteers and creating a welcoming, grace-filled worship environment.

Commitment

10-15 hours per week
