STUDENT PASTOR

Colonial Hill Baptist Church | Snyder, TX Status: Full-time, Salaried, Ministerial

Colonial Hill Baptist is a church in motion. With hundreds of baptisms in the past 24 months, we are experiencing real momentum, and we’re looking for the right leader to help steward and grow it through our student ministry. You’ll step into a healthy, thriving environment with over 100 active students and a team of 35 dedicated adult volunteers, all committed to reaching the next generation.

Student Pastor Compensation and Benefits

• Salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, based on education and experience
• A comprehensive benefits package, in addition to base salary, includes paid time off, retirement contributions, performance bonuses, and relocation assistance

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Be a growing disciple of Jesus Christ who serves under the leadership of the Lead Pastor
• Lead and grow a thriving ministry for students in grades 6–12
• Be a high-capacity leader who can manage multiple responsibilities independently
• Affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (1963)

Key Responsibilities

• Champion the culture and vision of Colonial Hill Baptist Church
• Contribute to overall church leadership and serve with excellence where needed across the church
• Plan and lead weekly student gatherings (Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings), as well as events such as camps, retreats, mission trips, and small groups
• Collaborate with other churches and student pastors for community and multi-church events
• Actively engage and reach students in Snyder and surrounding communities through relational evangelism
• Recruit, train, and shepherd adult volunteers and leaders within the student ministry
• Preach or fill the pulpit as needed
• Oversee student ministry communication, including social media and promotional materials, in alignment with church branding
• Develop and manage the annual student ministry budget
• Demonstrate flexibility and a team-first mindset in meeting church-wide needs
