Job Description

Grace Baptist Church in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time Student Minister to lead and grow our 6th–12th grade ministry. Join us in our mission of connecting students to be purpose-filled followers of Christ as we invest in the next generation by raising and releasing transformational leaders.

The Student Minister will provide leadership for a growing student ministry focused on helping students develop a genuine faith in Jesus. This role centers on preaching and teaching God’s Word, discipling students through relationships, and shepherding them toward spiritual maturity. The Student Minister will also develop leaders, partner with parents, and create discipleship-driven events. The ideal candidate will have a clear calling to pastoral ministry.

This position is part of a mission-driven church pursuing a vision of raising and sending transformational leaders. We intentionally view this role as a training ground for young men who aspire to become senior pastors, providing opportunities for leadership development, preaching, and broader pastoral experience. The Student Minister will play a key role in that vision by equipping students to live on mission and raising up leaders while also growing personally in pastoral leadership. Candidates should be committed to biblical discipleship and equipped through education and experience to serve in a dynamic ministry environment.
