Job Description

Gulf to Lake Church in Crystal River, Florida is looking for a Senior Pastor. Our founding Pastor after 32 years has decided to retire. What started out with just over a dozen people has turned into a home for over 600 weekly attenders. This church now has 7 ministerial staff members and multiple suport staff that have been together for a very long time. We are praying for the Lord to send the right man to lead us into the next season of ministry.

Living in Crystal Rivers offers a small town feel in a growing area. The outdoors and wildlife are a major draw to this area. This is a great place to raise a family and many people come to the area to retire.

Position Overview

• Role: Senior Pastor
• Location: Crystal River, Florida
• Type: Full-Time
• Experience: 10+ years of pastoral leadership preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring, Bible-based Sunday sermons.
• Provide spiritual guidance and pastoral care to church members.
• Lead administrative and ministry staff teams.
• Guide community outreach and local evangelism efforts.
• Oversee discipleship and Christian education programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in theology or related field.
• Demonstrated alignment with Southern Baptist doctrine and values.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
