Production Manager

The Production Manager oversees all things production-related to help more people take steps to follow Christ and connect to community and their calling.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Have a deep, growing love for the Lord
• Professional representation of Journey Church and the Lord in all things
• Possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Possess a demonstrated commitment to excellence
• Possess a high degree of flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and organization
• Be comfortable with multitasking and skilled with priority management
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning
• Experience building and leading teams and managing resources, especially in a multisite environment
• Background in live event production with proven technical proficiency
• Experience with broadcast video including directing live productions and managing multi-cam setups
• Proficiency in telling compelling stories through video

General Responsibilities:

• Enthusiastically support the mission and vision of Journey Church
• Provide and implement strategic leadership, goals, and initiatives for the production ministry
• Prepare and manage the central production budget
• Oversee the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the ministry
• Provide leadership, input, and support to church-wide initiatives as needed
• Oversee the planning and execution of AVL for new location launches
• Oversee coordination of production, rentals, schedules, and resources for all-campus events
• Assist the Worship Director in service flow and creative planning
• Regularly research new trends in worship and production
• Coordinate the regular recording of online worship with worship, production, and online staff
• Oversee the broadcast video team responsible for the weekly video capture of the sermon for use at physical locations and online
• Coordinate editing and uploading sermon video/audio and create thumbnails for YouTube
• Coordinate editing and uploading podcast video/audio to Spotify
• Oversee all major ministry video projects
• Conceive and manage video projects for in-service use
• Coordinate the capture and organization of B-roll for use in future videos
