Longstreet Baptist Church is a growing, Christ-centered church committed to serving God and our community. We exist to glorify God and make Him known by winning souls and making disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that all men have Free Will and must make a decision regarding the free gift of salvation offered by and paid for in full by Jesus’ atoning Blood. We are seeking a dedicated man to lead our congregation in spiritual growth, discipleship and outreach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong Biblical leadership, effective communication and deep commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Longstreet Baptist Church is open to discussion regarding full-time/part-time employment. Must submit to a background check as requested by the Pulpit Committee.

*Any viable candidate will meet the qualifications as listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, and pastoral care.
• Prepare and deliver engaging, biblically grounded sermons.
• Lead worship services in collaboration with the worship team.
• Offer pastoral care, including visitation, counseling, and crisis support.
• Promote discipleship through small groups, Bible studies, and educational ministries.
• Partner with church leadership to develop and implement vision and strategic goals.
• Engage in community outreach.
• Perform the ordinances of the church, Baptism when needed and The Lord’s Supper.
• Perform pastoral duties such as weddings, funerals, and dedications.

About Longstreet Baptist Church

Longstreet Baptist Church meets Sunday am/pm and Wednesday evenings for prayer and Bible study. We conduct a business meeting monthly, the first Wednesday after the first Sunday of every month. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God. Most of our members prefer the 1611 King James Bible but we are open to other good translations. We exist to serve God, grow together in our faith, and reach others with the message that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord! Longstreet Baptist Church is physically located in Longstreet, LA
