About This Position: The Dwell Next Gen Director leads Dwell Kids and Dwell Students. Responsibilities will include:

Stewarding the present: We have amazing kids and families participating in Dwell Kids! This position will continue to develop Dwell Kids through participatory leadership structures towards being the Kids Ministry for a new era. This means:

Recruiting, developing, and coordinating a diverse team of Dwell Builders (volunteers) and working with the Builder Team Lead for Dwell Kids Continuing to build Dwell Kids culture that makes kids feel safe, known, and loved. This includes implementing safety standards, systems, and best practices. It also includes creating a participatory culture where kids have the right amount of input. Developing and curating curriculum in accordance with our program structure and values which include:

• Building an Age Diverse Learning Community
• Vibrant and emotionally intelligent faith
• Healthy and developmentally appropriate relationship with the Bible
• Play-based learning and other pedagogical best practices
• Teaching developmentally appropriate aspects of Dwell Values
• Developing learning milestones and pathways
• Partnering with families to support spiritual formation at home

Building the future: Dwell Church is dreaming of a Next Gen Director who can lead a participatory process in partnership with the Team Lead for Dwell Students to build and launch a student ministry. Our three-year goal is to have 30 middle schoolers and high schoolers regularly participating in Dwell Student Ministry.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay Range: $70-80k

Benefits include:
