Job Description

West End Assembly of God (WEAG) is seeking a pastor to join our LEAD Team of four pastors who provide vision and direction for our ministry. This individual will serve according to their gifts, passions, and calling, with the potential to function as LEAD Pastor. WEAG is a Pentecostal Assemblies of God church with over 56 years of faithful ministry in the greater Richmond region.

From the beginning, we have been committed to worship, discipleship, and sharing the hope of Jesus. Today, we stand at an exciting moment—grateful for our history and expectant for what’s ahead. We are stepping into a new season with a renewed focus on advancing the Kingdom of God in Richmond and beyond.

At the core of who we are are three key passions:

• Authentic Worship – creating space for people to encounter God • The Next Generation – investing in kids, students, and young adults • Equipping the Saints – helping believers live out their calling

WEAG is more than a gathering—we are a family. Our church reflects the diversity of God’s Kingdom across race, culture, age, and background, unified in Christ.

Our mission field is the Greater Richmond area, home to over 1.3 million people. We see this not just as a statistic, but as a harvest field—an opportunity to reach people through the gospel, compassionate ministry, and Spirit-led discipleship.
