Position Type: Part-Time

Salary: 20 hours per week at $35.00-$40.00 an hour

Position Summary

Arroyo Church is a growing gospel-centered church in Livermore, CA filled with many young families. The Arroyo Kids Director's primary goal is to lead children from birth through 5th grade to, know and show the love Jesus. This role is primarily focused on recruiting, training, and empowering a team of volunteers to disciple children and equipping parents to disciple their children.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and empower volunteer leaders
• Ensure safety, screening, and legal compliance
• Partner with parents as the primary disciplers
• Lead special events such as VBS and 1–2 Date Nights for parents each year
• Hold a of two training and appreciation meetings for your team per year

Weekly Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee Sunday kids environment
• Communicate with and schedule volunteers
• Prepare curriculum, classroom materials, and classroom snacks
• Follow up with new families
