Job Description Title
The Discipleship Pastor/Director is responsible for overseeing the small groups ministry and the care that takes place within that structure at Covenant Church. This position is a full time role.
Position Responsibilities
- The Discipleship Pastor/Director role will lead the existing small groups ministry at Covenant Church.
- Work closely with the lead pastor to understand the current vision of small groups ministry fully and how they fit in within the discipleship structure at Covenant
- Provide resources/training and encouragement to current and future small group leaders
- Help to champion the importance of small groups and increase participation
- Ensure there are healthy leaders and apprentices
