Position: Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries

Reports to: Senior Pastor/SPRC

Position Status: Full Time

Pay: $45,000-$50,000 per year

Seeking a passionate, energetic, and faith-driven candidate to lead and grow our Student and Young Adult Ministries

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, and special events.
• Develop and implement programs for young adults.
• Build meaningful relationships with youth (grades 6-12) and their families.
• Coordinate mission trip, retreats, and service opportunities.
• Recruit, train, and support adult volunteers.
• Collaborate with church staff to integrate youth into the life of the church.
• Provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students.

Qualifications:

• Strong personal Christian faith and commitment to ministry.
• Demonstrates commitment to Christian leadership consistent with United Methodist beliefs.
• Experience working with youth in a church setting.
• Excellent communications and leadership skills
• Ability to connect with and mentor young people.
• Bachelor’s degree.
