Job Description

Candidate-Facing Vision

This is a unique opportunity to lead a church positioned in one of the fastest growing and most influential communities in Colorado.

Parker is filled with driven, successful, and highly connected people—many of whom are searching for deeper meaning, authentic community, and a place to encounter God in a real way. We believe Lighthouse is called to be that kind of place—a home for our community to glorify God and enjoy His presence.

We are seeking a leader who is energized by evangelism, passionate about discipleship, and excited to raise up leaders who will live out their faith boldly in everyday life. This is an opportunity to help shape a church where people are known, transformed by the Holy Spirit, and sent out to make a lasting Kingdom impact.

Position Summary

The Lead Pastor serves as the primary spiritual and directional leader of Lighthouse, responsible for casting vision, preaching, leadership development, and advancing the mission of the church.

This role requires a visionary, high-capacity leader who can energize the congregation, champion evangelism, and equip others to courageously follow Jesus and participate in a culture of discipleship that makes disciples. The Lead Pastor also provides emergency and critical pastoral care during moments of crisis, supporting individuals and families with compassion and presence. The Lead Pastor is supported by two paid staff members and receives vacation time, spiritual renewal time, and a $20,000 benefits stipend to ensure healthy, sustainable leadership. The Lead Pastor is supported by a part-time Worship Pastor and part-time Youth Pastor, as well as volunteer support for Children’s Ministry, weekly setup/teardown/AV for portable Sunday services, and nominal administrative assistance.

Compensation

This position offers a base annual salary in the range of $70,000–$88,000, commensurate with experience, education, and fit with the role.

Benefits

  • An annual healthcare stipend of $16,000 (not included in base salary above) is offered in lieu of healthcare coverage
  • PTO of 15 days per year, plus 8 paid holidays
  • Up to 6 days per year of paid sick leave (for self or immediate family member)

About Our Church

Lighthouse is a local, portable church of 125-150 people, committed to being a home for our community to glorify God and enjoy His presence—a place to belong, be known, and encounter God in a real way.

We pursue this mission by living authentically, courageously following Jesus, and being transformed by the Holy Spirit.

We are deeply committed to:

  • Being Christ-centered in all things
  • Teaching and living out Biblical truth
  • Inviting others into the journey of faith
  • Practicing sacrificial generosity
  • Investing in the next generation
  • Partnering with other churches and ministries
  • Multiplying disciples who make disciples

We strongly support next-generation ministries and meaningful partnerships with other local churches, reflecting our heart for unity and long-term Kingdom impact.
