Youth Pastor – Morton Location One Sentence Job Description To inspire students to love God and others more than themselves. Qualifications 2–3 years minimum of leading or working in Youth Ministry in a church setting. Preference will be given to those with experience in a large (1,000+), multi-site church. Demonstrate a fruitful, growing, and personal relationship with Jesus and a working knowledge of God’s Word. Demonstrated ability to teach practical, Biblically based messages to students. Submission of a link to a video of the candidate teaching is preferred. Experience recruiting, developing, and leading adult volunteers and student leaders. Ability to organize and execute Youth Ministry events, retreats, camps, and mission opportunities. Must exercise the characteristic of humility with a “whatever it takes” attitude. Married candidate is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities NOTE: While the Youth Pastor is not expected to personally execute all of these responsibilities and delegation is expected, the Youth Pastor remains responsible for the outcomes of each of the following: Champion the vision of Parkway Fellowship, per the Location Pastor and Senior Youth Pastor, with the Youth Ministry team, volunteers, students, and families. Lead and inspire the Morton Youth Ministry volunteer team through Godly servant leadership. Teach practical, Biblically based messages to students as assigned within the Youth Ministry teaching schedule. Recruit, train, equip, and appreciate Youth Ministry volunteers. Identify, develop, and empower student leaders to serve as extensions of the Youth Ministry. Oversee Youth Small Groups at the Morton Location and ensure they run effectively and smoothly. Work the assimilation process to ensure new students are welcomed, connected, and folded into the Youth Ministry. Set specific and measurable goals for the Morton Youth Ministry in alignment with the direction of the Morton Location Pastor and Senior Youth Pastor. Assist in the planning and execution of church-wide Youth Ministry retreats, camps, mission trips, and special events, while overseeing the participation and preparation of Morton students and volunteers. Equip and develop summer interns to serve effectively in Youth Ministry and grow as future ministry leaders. Oversee weekly Youth Ministry programming at the Morton Location, including volunteers, student engagement, Small Groups, assimilation, and overall execution. Build relationships with students and parents and provide pastoral care and support as appropriate. Structure volunteer teams, systems, weekly programming, and events to support continued growth at the Morton Location. Work closely with the Senior Youth Pastor to maintain consistency and alignment with Parkway Fellowship's overall Youth Ministry vision, strategy, curriculum, programming, and events. Collaborate with Youth Ministry staff at other Parkway locations to share resources, strengthen ministry systems, and create a consistent experience for students across Parkway Fellowship. We currently have two locations. Our original location is at the apex corner of three major cities—Richmond, Katy, and Fulshear—while our second location is in the heart of north Katy. ASSOCIATE PASTOR OF WORSHIP AND MEDIA This is a full-time leadership position reporting directly to the Senior Pastor POSITION SUMMARY The Associate Pastor of Worship and Media provides pastoral, musical, technical, and administrative leadership for the church’s worship and media ministries. Working with the Senior Pastor and staff, this role plans and leads biblically faithful worship services; oversees rehearsals, special services, media production, and live streaming; and recruits, equips, and shepherds ministry volunteers. This position requires musical and technical ability, strong organization and communication, and, above all, a shepherd’s heart committed to loving people and advancing the church’s mission and vision. PURPOSE OF POSITION The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all financial and operational aspects of our church.
