DOCC's ministry is built around intentionally biblical preaching and authentic community enjoyed in our community groups and ministry gatherings.The Connections Director is an integral position in the mission of Double Oak Community Church. From helping attenders navigate the membership process to assisting members in finding their place in ministry, the Connections Director creates opportunities for people at Double Oak Community Church to find their place for membership, spiritual growth, fellowship, and service. The ideal candidate for the Connections Minister position will be a person of exceptional relational capacity, hospitality, and warmth who has a gift for administration and process. Some of the responsiblities of the Connections Minister will include: - Recruiting and training Connections teams members to serve as a welcoming presence for guests who can answer questions about the ministries and gatherings at the church. To do this well, the Connections Minister will need to possess an accurate understanding of the ministries of the church. - Monitor the next steps of guests as they become attenders and attenders as they seek membership. A firm grasp on the progression of those steps with each person will require attention to detail and administrative capacity. - Work in coordination with the Serve Director to connect members of DOCC to places of ministry both inside the church and with external mission partners and organizations. - Coordinate with the senior pastor to ensure that the membership process is thorough and completed for each membership candidate. - Education- Seminary training preferred.
