Position Overview Without Walls Church is a Spirit-filled Assemblies of God congregation located approximately 30 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport. We are committed to reaching the East Valley with Jesus through Bible-based teaching, Spirit-led worship, innovative outreach, and engaging discipleship. We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Youth & Young Adult Pastor to lead and grow our YTH and YA Ministries (7th grade through age 29). This individual will have a heart for the next generation, a vibrant and consistent personal walk with the Lord, and the ability to build dynamic, Spirit-led environments that reach, disciple, and empower young people. Key Responsibilities - Provide spiritual leadership and oversight for our YTH and YA Ministries (7th grade–29 years old) - Develop and execute engaging weekly services, small groups, and discipleship pathways - Create and lead outreach strategies that effectively connect with students and young adults both on-campus and in the community - Build, train, and lead a strong volunteer and leadership team - Collaborate with church staff to align YTH and YA Ministries with overall church vision and culture - Plan and oversee events, retreats, conferences, and outreach opportunities - Provide pastoral care, mentorship, and spiritual guidance to youth and young adults - Ensure effective communication and organization across all aspects of the ministry - Manage administrative responsibilities including scheduling, budgeting, and follow-up systems Qualifications - A clear and evident personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated through a consistent prayer life, daily devotion, and ongoing spiritual growth - Alignment with Assemblies of God doctrine and a Spirit-filled lifestyle, including openness to and operation in the gifts of the Holy Spirit - Previous experience in NextGen, Youth, or Young Adult ministry (preferred) - Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Forward-thinking mindset with awareness of current cultural trends and challenges facing youth and young adults - Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams - Excellent communication and relational skills - Willingness to work in-office, on campus for evening YTH and YA services or events, and in off-campus outreach environments - Ability to play an instrument (e.g., piano or guitar) and lead worship is a plus, but not required Personal Attributes - Passionate about reaching and discipling the next generation - Energetic, innovative, and adaptable - Relationally driven with a heart for people - Spirit-led, faith-filled, and committed to pursuing the presence of God - Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and follow-through Work Environment This is a full-time position, reporting to our Ministries Executive Pastor, requiring both in-office hours and active participation in off-campus outreach, events, and ministry gatherings.
