We believe God placed us on Earth to help people know Jesus, find purpose, grow with others, and make a difference. Youth Director The Breeze believes in the next generation. We know there is much more ground to take for God’s Kingdom and investing in student’s lives is a primary mission for us as a church. Below are some details on who we are looking for… YOU ARE: - You are a growing disciple who consistently seeks to grow in their relationship with Jesus. - You are a qualified pastor according to the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3.1-7 and Titus 1.5-9. - You are in theological agreement with the Assemblies of God Fellowship. - You are a hard worker both behind the desk and with your hands. - You are a gifted communicator who can both teach/preach the Word of God. - You are able to communicate effectively with both church leadership and parents/youth guardians. - You are a team player who enjoys collaboration and values “we” over “me.” - You are more concerned with faithfulness than fads. - You are excited to be a part of the The Breeze family and live in Southwest Florida. YOU WILL: - You will oversee weekly youth services, activities, groups, and Sunday classes. - You will lead/shepherd the volunteer team and provide training as needed. - You will be able to start/launch weekly communication with parents and students. - You will plan and carry a vision for spiritual and numerical growth of the youth ministries. - You will plan, lead, and oversee camps, conferences, and special events. - Actively be involved in campus missions, attempting to get into public schools. - You will help with church wide event planning and carry church wide responsibilities. - You will help with general needs to help the team win. - Plan for approximately 40 hours on a typical week. However, plan for additional hours around Easter, Christmas, Camp season, and Youth missions trips. At the end of the day it’s not about the hours punched, it’s about the fruit that’s growing.
