Worship Leader: Rise Church Rise Church 704 Joliet Street Dyer, Indiana 46311 Rise Church in Dyer, Indiana seeks a passionate Worship Leader to guide a diverse team of instrumentalists and vocalists. The Worship Leader will cultivate a worshipful environment for Sunday services and other special occasions, fostering spiritual growth and community engagement. Responsibilities - Lead the praise team in contemporary worship settings. - Collaborate closely with the lead pastor and elders to develop worship services that align with the church’s vision and values. - Recruit, train, and disciple worship and tech team members, nurturing their spiritual and musical growth. - Manage worship service logistics, including music selection, team scheduling, and coordination of multimedia elements. - Develop and lead volunteers across production areas (sound, ProPresenter, Planning Center, video, lighting), building teams that execute with excellence. - Foster strong relationships with congregants, guests, and the wider community to encourage participation and connection. Qualifications - Must be a baptized Christian in good standing with a local congregation. - Strong musical skills as a vocalist and instrumentalist. - Preferred: proven experience leading a praise team in a contemporary worship environment. - Strong interpersonal skills with a relational approach to ministry. - Experience with Planning Center and ProPresenter is a plus; willingness to learn is essential. - Administrative skills to manage worship planning and team coordination effectively. - Reporting - The Worship Leader will report to and collaborate with the lead pastor and elders of Rise Church.
