Job Description: Job Title: Family Ministries Director Location: Rhythm Church, North County San Diego Position Type: Full-time Reports To: Executive Pastor About Rhythm Church: Rhythm Church, located in North County San Diego, exists to help people know Jesus, find freedom, belong to family, and impact their world. We are dedicated to creating transformative experiences that foster spiritual growth and community engagement for all ages. Position Summary: As the Family Ministries Director, you will oversee and provide leadership for all aspects of family-related ministries at Rhythm Church. This includes the Young Adults Ministry, Men's and Women's Ministries, Youth Ministry, and Kids Ministry. You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the ministry coordinators, ensuring that each program aligns with the church’s mission and effectively meets the needs of our congregation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ministry Oversight and Leadership: - Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Young Adults, Men's, Women's, Youth, and Kids Ministries. - Supervise and support ministry coordinators to ensure effective program execution and alignment with church goals. 2. Program Development and Implementation: - Develop and implement engaging programs and initiatives for each ministry area that support spiritual growth and community building. - Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvement or new initiatives. 3. Team Development and Support: - Recruit, train, and equip ministry leaders and volunteers to effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities. - Foster a collaborative and supportive environment among ministry teams, encouraging growth and development. 4. Budget and Resource Management: - Develop and manage budgets for each ministry area, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with financial goals. - Coordinate with the church’s administrative team to secure necessary resources and support for ministry activities. 5. Communication and Collaboration: - Communicate regularly with ministry coordinators, volunteers, and church leadership to ensure alignment and address any issues or needs. - Collaborate with other church departments and teams to integrate family ministries with overall church activities and events. 6. Vision and Strategy: - Work closely with church leadership to set and achieve goals for family ministries in line with the church’s vision and mission. - Stay informed about trends and best practices in family and ministry development to enhance program effectiveness.
