We are looking for a full-time High School pastor to oversee students and help them connect with Jesus and grow in their love and devotion to Him. Come join the miracle of God and our amazing team at the Orchard! As a High School pastor at Orchard, you will play a vital role in shaping and supporting the student culture of our church. Through your leadership, creativity, and heart for God, you’ll help create meaningful spaces where people are invited into authentic, connective lives with Jesus. The High School Pastor leads and grows Orchard Church’s High School Ministry (Thrive) by developing strong adult volunteer teams, empowering student leaders, and building upon an already healthy and vibrant ministry foundation. This role requires a high-capacity, experienced leader who is proactive, visionary, relational, and capable of developing and multiplying leaders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can champion the Family Ministry vision and execute ministry with excellence! Primary Responsibilities Leadership: Team Development - Recruit, train, and shepherd a large volunteer team (25–30 adults currently). - Develop multi-layer leadership pipelines for adults and student leaders. - Build and maintain a thriving HSM culture of discipleship, empowerment, and ownership. - Lead and develop the TOT (student leadership) program. Ministry Structure: Growth - Strengthen ministry systems (assimilation, follow-up, small groups, outreach, leader onboarding). - Create scalable structures for a ministry of 150–250 students. - Develop yearly ministry calendars, leader trainings, and strategic goals. - Champion evangelism and outreach efforts. Teaching: Communication - Teach regularly with clarity, biblical depth, and relevance. - Cast clear vision for students, leaders, and parents. - Collaborate with Family Pastor for NextGen alignment. Innovation: Creativity - Think ahead and generate new ideas. - Design gatherings and events that foster growth. - Take initiative in building ministry momentum. Pastoral Duties - Provide pastoral care for students and families. - Support church-wide mission and pastoral responsibilities. Qualifications - 5+ years youth ministry leadership in a larger church. - Demonstrated team-building leadership. - Proven ability to scale ministry. - Strong communication and pastoral skills. - Seminary education preferred.
