We are looking for a Kids Pastor who loves Jesus, loves people, and has a genuine passion for helping children and families grow in their faith. It is a discipleship environment where kids: • Learn the truth of Scripture • Build meaningful relationships • Grow in their identity in Christ • Experience God in a way that is both real and age-appropriate We are committed to creating environments that are: • Safe and well organized • Engaging and enjoyable • Spiritually healthy, Jesus-centered, and led with wisdom The Role The Kids Pastor will lead and build Newsoul Kids by developing leaders, creating excellent environments, and helping kids and families grow in their relationship with Jesus. This role is both pastoral and strategic, requiring the ability to lead people, build systems, and contribute to the overall health of the church. What You’ll Do Build and Lead a Team • Recruit, develop, and inspire volunteers • Build strong, healthy teams and future leaders • Provide consistent communication, care, and encouragement • Create clear systems for scheduling, onboarding, and training Create Excellent Ministry Environments • Ensure every Sunday is prepared, safe, and effective • Help kids feel known, valued, and supported • Lead with both structure and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit • Support church-wide events and ministry moments Develop Leaders • Invest in volunteers through coaching and discipleship • Raise up leaders, not just fill roles • Lead with clarity, grace, and biblical wisdom • Navigate challenges with maturity and care Be Part of the Bigger Mission • Participate fully in staff life and church culture • Contribute to vision, creativity, and planning • Carry the heart of a pastor, not just a department leader What We’re Looking For Competence You can build, organize, and lead effectively You think in both systems and people You can grow a ministry as the church grows Character You walk with integrity in private and public You are spiritually grounded and emotionally healthy You are teachable, humble, and full of faith Chemistry You bring energy, joy, and unity to the team You love people and believe in the mission You make the room better Key Strengths • Strong leadership and team-building ability • Clear communicator who inspires others • Able to balance organization with relational ministry • Comfortable leading both structured environments and Spirit-led moments • Emotionally intelligent and spiritually discerning Experience • Experience in children’s ministry • Ministry or leadership experience preferred • Bible college training is a plus, not required Why Newsoul? • A growing, healthy, and well-led church • A culture that values discipleship, leadership, and community • A team that is unified, driven, and committed • A real opportunity to build and shape a ministry If you feel as through our church and the role would be the perfect fit for your calling and future please email matthew@newsoulchurch.com and hector@newsoulchurch.com the following information. 1.
