Job OverviewThis is an essential position for someone who is passionate about nurturing the spiritual growth of children and guiding them in their early faith journey. Our Children's Ministry serves as a cornerstone in developing a loving, inclusive, and engaging environment where young minds can learn about God's love and Christian values. The Children’s Ministry Coordinator is responsible for furthering the mission of Mt Zion UMC by leading, managing and growing the children’s ministry. The position includes but is not limited to coordinating Sunday School activities, leading Vacation Bible School, and training and recruiting volunteers. The Coordinator of Children’s Ministry reports to the Senior Pastor and works in conjunction with the Youth Director, Preschool Director, Choir Director and other pastoral staff of Mt Zion UMC.
