Liberty Bible Church is a growing church of 800 located in Vancouver, WA, one of the fastest growing cities in the state. Liberty is a part of the Church of the Nazarene. Liberty Bible is seeking a passionate and gifted Children’s Pastor to lead and grow our ministry for kindergarten through 5th grade. This leader will help children know, love, and follow Jesus while equipping families to disciple their kids at home. If you love building teams, teaching God’s Word in engaging ways, and creating environments where kids thrive spiritually, we’d love to hear from you. What You’ll Do - Provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all K–5 children’s ministry environments - Develop and implement engaging, Bible-centered programming for Sundays, midweek, and special events (including VBS) - Recruit, train, and care for a strong volunteer team - Partner with parents as the primary spiritual leaders of their children - Create safe, welcoming, and fun environments where kids can grow in their faith - Help children understand the Gospel and live it out in their daily lives What We’re Looking For - A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ - Agreement with the doctrines and teachings of the Church of the Nazarene - A passion for discipling elementary-aged children and equipping families - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills - Ability to build, lead, and develop volunteer teams - Engaging and effective teaching ability Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (ministry or related field preferred) - Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in children’s ministry (preferred) - Experience leading or developing ministry programs Work Environment - Reports to: Lead Pastor (vision and ministry direction) and Executive Pastor (day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and development) - Collaborates with church staff and ministry leaders - Schedule includes Sundays, midweek programming, and special events Why Liberty Bible Church?
