Worship & Creative Arts Director
As Grace Life Church grows into a new season of ministry, we are ready for the next step of intentional discipleship through worship & musical leadership. The ideal candidate will have a passionate and purposeful relationship with Jesus, a strong testimony knowing how the Good News of Christ has transformed their life, be a representation to those around them of the love of God, know the Truth that should be spoken in love and not compromised, believe that the Word of God is both inerrant and sufficient (no document, bylaws, social justice or cultural interpretation supersedes the supremacy of His Word), have a desire to see the next generations come to the saving knowledge of Christ and commitment to following His way, and like Paul says to Timothy "set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12). This person will have a track record of success, high standards of excellence — especially in music, a capacity for grace, boundaries for discipline (ref. Matthew 18:5), professional presentation, a spirit of fun and a good sense of humor (mindless puns are a plus) where the most visible thing they put on every day is a smile. A great attitude, team-player mindset, highly developed musical abilities and respect of Pastoral/Elder leadership will be instrumental in this role.
