Our Prayer for Our Next Pastor We are prayerfully seeking a pastor who will lovingly shepherd our church family and faithfully lead us according to God’s Word. We desire a leader who: • Loves the Lord deeply and walks closely with Him • Preaches biblically sound, Christ-centered sermons • Provides spiritual guidance and compassionate pastoral care • Leads with humility, wisdom, and a heart for people • Has a burden for discipleship, families, and community outreach • Encourages spiritual growth and unity within the church • Shares a vision for reaching future generations for Christ Position Information • This position may be full-time or bi-vocational • Salary is negotiable based on experience and availability The Pastor shall serve as the primary spiritual leader of the church and provide oversight of its ministry and mission. The Pastor shall work in cooperation with the Administrative Board to guide the church in fulfilling its mission. The duties of Pastor shall include, but not be limited to: a. Preaching and teaching the Word of God and leading worship services. b. Administering the sacraments and ordinances of the church. c. Providing spiritual guidance, counseling, and pastoral care to individuals and families. d. Leading the congregation in prayer, discipleship, and spiritual growth. e. Officiating weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other ceremonies in alignment with the church’s Statement of Faith. f. Defining the vision and setting ministry direction in alignment with biblical principles. g. Collaborating with the Administrative Board on strategic planning and decision-making. h. Collaborating with church staff and overseeing day-to-day ministry operations. i. Representing the church in the community and promoting outreach and evangelism. j. Demonstrating a Christ-centered lifestyle and ongoing personal and professional growth. k. Address the administrative board twice yearly with a progress report on new membership and his expectation and vision for the church
