Executive Pastor Job Opportunity Crestview Baptist Church Georgetown, TX Position Overview: Crestview (www.peoplesharingjesus.com) is seeking an experienced executive pastor to serve as the Lead Pastor's leadership partner for the administrative, operation, and organizational life of Crestview Baptist Church. This role ensures the church's vision of People Sharing Jesus is supported through healthy systems, shrewd stewardship, aligned staff leadership, and operational excellence. As a member of the Pastoral Leadership Team, the Executive Pastor works collaboratively with the Lead Pastor and the other ministry leaders to reach the lost and grow the godly. Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive oversight of church affairs. - Ensure appropriate financial and resource management of the church budget. - Oversee multi-campus facility operations. - Provide strategic planning and organizational resources to staff and committees. - Communicate effectively with volunteers, committee chairs, and church leadership. Qualifications - Education: All viable candidates must have a strong theological background within the Baptist tradition. A bachelor's degree in business or commensurate business experience. Additionally, a Masters degree from an accredited Baptist seminary preferred or willingness to pursue one. - Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Executive Pastor experience with demonstrated success in staff supervision and budget oversight. Required Competencies: - Strong biblical and theological understanding within the baptistic tradition - Strong financial management skills and knowledge of non-profit accounting - Exceptional communication skills (in-person and digital platforms) - Digital fluency across multiple technological platforms - Leadership and team development abilities Position Details - Reports directly to the Lead Pastor - Full-time, called position of the pastoral staff - Denominational Affiliation: Texas Baptist and Southern Baptist Convention - Competitive salary commensurate with experience and education - Includes health insurance stipend, retirement benefits, and professional development opportunities - Ability to stand, sit, walk, speak, hear, and capacity to lift up to 50 pounds Application Process - Include a statement of faith and professional references.
