Position: Senior Pastor The ideal candidate will have a clear testimony of salvation in Jesus Christ and a passion for shepherding God’s people. The Senior Pastor will serve as an elder and work with a unified leadership team of three elders and three deacons. Key Responsibilities The Senior Pastor will lead the congregation by: - Preaching and teaching Scripture clearly, accurately, and in a spiritually nourishing way - Providing pastoral care through counseling, visitation, and encouragement - Officiating weddings, funerals, and baptisms - Leading community outreach to help CGBC engage and bless our neighbors - Equipping the saints to fulfill the Great Commission - Serving collaboratively with the church board in unity and harmony - This role is ideal for a pastor who loves people, values unity, and wants to build a thriving ministry rooted in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
