Brooksville Baptist Church is located in the small town of Brooksville, MS. Our church was established in 1867 and has been a strong presence in our little community. We are prayerfully seeking God’s direction to find our next pastor, a man who has been called by God to do His work, a man who preaches first with his life. At present there are no other paid staff members. Seminary education is preferred and we would entertain a bi-vocational pastor serving our people. Our congregation is made up mostly of senior adults who have a great desire to grow in God’s word. We are a very loving church family who enjoy meeting together for all our services. We believe in the Baptist Faith and Message. We support the Cooperative Program, contributing monthly a percentage of our offerings. We are strong supporters of all the SBC mission organizations. We participate with Operation Christmas Child and the Back-to-School ministry in our community. We love music and sing traditional hymns from the hymn book. We do not provide a parsonage and are willing for the residence of our pastor to be in a nearby larger city. We are south of both Columbus and Starkville, Ms. approximately 25 miles. If you are looking for a slower pace, for a church to shepherd the people, lead by example, teach from God’s Word, and bring comfort to those hurting, then Brooksville Baptist Church is for you.
