Worship Pastor

Full-Time

Responsibilities - Plan, curate, organize, and spiritually lead engaging worship services and special events - Recruit, train, and build worship team and volunteers - Sharpen musical and technical abilities in an ongoing way - Provide one-on-one support to team members, nurturing their spiritual growth and well being. - Collaborate with the Lead pastor and executive pastor to ensure worship aligns with the campus vision and desired outcome - Collaborate with the Pastor of Student Ministries and the Pastor of Kids Ministries to build a cohesive worship culture and experience that aligns with the vision for the church. Helps develop young worship leaders - Oversee the technical and creative aspects of worship production, continually enhancing quality and innovation - Stay updated on technological advancements, implementing relevant changes that produce a high impact return Primary Strengths/Gifts/Talents - Ability to develop an understanding of band dynamics, worship environment production, and ministry teamwork in a worship team setting. - Must exemplify a high level of customer focus. - Ability to create a vision and execute effectively. - Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude. - Ability to self-motivate and make independent decisions. - Experience with keys, guitar, and/or other instruments. - Familiar with Pro-Tools, Logic, Ableton and other similar DAWs. - Effective at multi-tasking, time management, and following up. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong spiritual maturity. - Comfortable in diplomatic interactions. - Exceptional talent vocally to lead a worship experience. - Maintain composure during stressful situations. Mission Critical Responsibilities - Proactively communicate, support, and fulfill the mission, vision, core values, and goals of Bayside Church and the Auburn Campus - Help build a volunteer team that collectively and individually accomplishes same. - Maintain open and frequent communication with your supervisor, staff, and team. - Adhere to the Bayside Staff Core Values Post-Production Responsibilities - Engineer and produce tracks for weekend services and big rock events (i.e., Christmas, Christmas in the Park, Christmas Tree Lighting Show, Easter, Breakaway, and Conferences) - Assist Comms teams in curation and creation of music for video or live service elements - Assist Production teams in managing and creating systems for weekend broadcast Services. Creating tracks for broadcast specific elements. Assist mix engineer in broadcast mix - Other duties as assigned
