Bartow Cumberland Presbyterian Church is an active and robust church looking for a pastor to help continue our growth, both in our relationship with Christ but also our outreach within the community. Rydal offers a serene, pastoral setting ideal for a ministry focused on reflection and community. This quiet rural landscape provides the peace of the countryside while remaining a short drive from the vibrant cities of Cartersville and Rome. Residents enjoy a unique balance: the tranquil beauty of rolling hills paired with effortless access to premier outdoor recreation at Red Top Mountain State Park, the Tellus Science Museum, Savoy Automobile museum, and world-class exhibits at the Booth Western Art Museum. Rydal is centrally located near several prominent institutions, including Berry College, Reinhardt University, and Kennesaw State University, offering rich opportunities for academic engagement, performing arts, and lifelong learning. We offer a comprehensive compensation package that may include housing, retirement, health insurance, among other things in addition to a base salary of $40,000 - $70,000. The total effective salary may fall in the range of $65,000 to $90,000. Key Responsibilities: - Sunday services and events - Visits to members - Plan and implement events throughout the year, with the help of various committees. - Involved in the Church’s strategic growth plan - Involvement with our youth program and team - Involvement within the community through Church outreach programs Qualifications: - Ordained or willing to be ordained as Cumberland Presbyterian - A willingness to live within a close vicinity of the Church
